One door. One headlight. One windshield wiper. Three wheels, and five colors to choose from—this one-seater is getting another go. The Peel was manufactured on the Isle of Man (UK) in the 1960s. Now, two car enthusiasts have purchased the company and will produce a limited run. All to be built in Britain.
Big enough for “one adult and one shopping bag,” the Peel P50 still holds the world record as the smallest production car. In the U.S. it’s classified as a “motor driven cycle.” Tricycle to be precise!
